LandscapeHD films combine the worlds greatest classical and instrumental music with breathtaking HD imagery from around the world

Which comes first the music or the pictures?
LandscapeHD is first and foremost a music television network. We start with the music and then create a production that is sympathetic to it.

Music
Today it is almost impossible to get instrumental music on to any of the major radio networks as it is seen as not commercially viable. At the same time it is also difficult to gain exposure through the traditional music video medium on television networks for much the same reason.

LandscapeHD is in effect a combination of a radio station and a television channel. We broadcast twenty minute segments of LandscapeHD films followed by local language back announcements.

This broadcast works as a promotion tool for the musicians in our library with the potential to reach a world audience. We fulfill a vital role, reaching a wide cross section of the public that otherwise might never come into contact with these genres of music. At the same time the broadcast generates a flow of viewers and industry professionals to our website and in turn on to the musicians themselves.

Unlike pop music, once a LandscapeHD film has been accepted, it has a lifetime shelf life. Indeed we are still playing videos today that were made in 1988. What this means is that the promotional aspect is on going and not limited to a short time period.

Film
The bulk of our programming is shot by our production department however we also provide two opportunities for HD film-makers and footage providers to get their work onto our network and make money and contacts from it. We believe that LandscapeHD works as a promotional tool for the music that we broadcast and also for the imagery that we broadcast. At present we are small by industry standards but due to the creative nature of our film production many media people watch our broadcasts on a regular basis. Ideas which start out on LandscapeHD often find their ways into commercials and feature film production.With this in mind we have two specialist schemes available for HD film-makers and HD footage providers. Both work on the same principles.

1. We give constant an on-screen credit/watermark to the film-maker/footage provider website.

2. The film-maker/footage provider recieves royalties from the download of the finished product.
